Meet Chris Veasey, Transport Consultant
Chris Veasey is one of the UK’s leading transport consultants. He founded Transport and Traffic Consultancy in 1994, having worked for other large commercial organisations and local authorities in senior transport consultant roles.
His work has largely been in London and South East England with projects in other parts of England and elsewhere in the UK during his 50+ year career.
Chris qualified as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (MCIHT) over four decades ago and gained professional certification to run bus, coach and road haulage operations over 25 years ago.

We have worked with Chris Veasey and Transport and Traffic Consultancy on a number of projects over a period of more than five years, across residential, education and local authority commissions.
Chris has typically been appointed directly by the client as an independent transport consultant, while working closely and collaboratively as part of the wider consultant team. Our experience has consistently been positive. He is responsive, pragmatic and willing to engage with the wider design and planning considerations affecting a project rather than approaching transport matters in isolation.
On our current residential project, Transport Traffic has prepared the transport reporting required to support the planning process.
